How it all started
Whilst rowing an ocean requires a high level of athleticism, Cam and Harry first met singing in the school choir in 2010. Cam was an older and impressive tenor, Harry, a barely pubescent alto; a fact he has never been allowed to forget. It was their time in the choir that formed the basis of their friendship, and the reason music is so intrinsic to the team's identity. These days people say it is like they speak their own language, and many struggle to keep up with their quick, dark humour.
As adults, both Harry and Cam have sought to challenge themselves in aid of a desire to prove themselves physically and mentally. In the summer of 2026 they decided to take on their biggest challenge yet, this time as a team.

We’d also like to give special thanks to our families. Between us that’s four parents, three siblings, two cockapoos, and one girlfriend. We imagine the only thing as hard as rowing an ocean is nervously watching someone you love row an ocean. Your support does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
As much as completing the crossing for the sense of achievement it will bring is motivation in and of itself, it’s the thought of you all waiting for us in Antigua that will get us through the hardest shifts on the boat.
